Most nights I sit alone, wondering where you’ve gone. I haven’t even been drinking and the irish maudlin comes out. I came over to this ning site, figuring it’s someplace where I can hang and just be myself and not worry about having to conform to some preconceived notions placed upon my by people with whom I really haven’t connected yet. Not that I won’t ever … but just like some unnamed political party, I ain’t gonna buy into your philosophy and onto your bandwagon just because you have decide…

Coursework writing is really not a peanut as I took it in the beginning when I was assigned a college coursework. It was really tough to find coursework help, even online coursework help. But you know internet is a magical world, sooner or later you come to the right place. So did I when I started searching online coursework help. But it took a lot of time of mine to find the exact material for writing my college coursework.
It is very essential to have the correct guidelines for writing…

Well hey everyone!
Today I tried out my new ZOOM H4N - Digital Recorder. I used the internal stereo-mics to record my (horrible) voice and the Folklore Deluxe in combination. The song I am singing is "16 Tons" by Merle Travis. In Germany we sing a translation (actually the text is completely different) of this song at my scout group very often, but I thought the original version suits better here ;)
In first line it's just a "recording-test" so please ignore that I've f**** up several times (e…

I've removed the music as they were really crappy basic first attempts at recording. I'm now working on my first album, Quadruped, you can follow my progress and listen to some samples of the album

Aloha all,
Just posted some pictures of my guitar with it's original owner, my Uncle, Roland Cazimero!
You'll notice the modified bridge in the pictures.
Roland, along with his brother Robert form Hawaii's top award winning duo - The Brothers Cazimero
With over 30 years of performing around the world, and over 30 albums, The Brothers Cazimero remain one of Hawaii's most favorite musicians and living legends!
Look up some of their music on youtube, keyword "Cazimero" (PS: Dont mind the Taylo…

A couple of months ago, I sold off two of my Ovations.. Concert Classic 1116 and 97 Collectors Edition. Both were sold to An Aussie working here.
Since then I've been Ovation-free. Not that I no longer wants Ovation, but I'm waiting for the right piece to come along. Good things come to those who wait, I believe.
In the interim, I got myself a Goodall Standard, and Larrivee L-10 on top of my Yamaha LL-16 and Larrivee D03-R. So I can afford to wait for a good priced Ovation.

Being bored I just added a lil song. I'm not sure how old it is, I just found it on my PC. It's some fingerpicking instrumental medley stuff - what ever ;) It's full of lil mistakes but at least it's something. ^^
The guitar used is an Ovation Folklore 1614 from 1981 stringed with.... .... NYLONS xD
Hope you like it =)

We bought my adamas I in 1985. It is truly an amazing instrument, and would never consider selling it at any cost. The one problem with this 12-string is that the battery chamber is nearly impossible to access very quickly should the battery die or become weak.If I have to change the battery it is a real hassle. It is in mint condition, and has an unusually beautiful face; a creme colorered top surface, with a greyish-blue tint airbrushed in the center. I know they sell for over $4,000.00, but t…

I've just learned an important tip about the Mac when working with multiple music interfaces. I have my JamLab, the Mackie U.420 and my MBox 002. Previously, I was constantly swapping between interfaces depending on what software I was using - For Guitar Rig standalone or GarageBand, I used the JamLab. For Logic, it was the U.420. For Pro Tools, the MBOX came alive. To make this all work, I was driving my Alesis monitors through a homemade switch box.
When one channel on the switch box gave out…

Hi Fans,
If you play guitar and use a Mac, come join the Mac Guitarists group.
Whether you just use iTunes to play along and Garageband to record, or have a full-fledged Mac-based Recording studio, let's chat about it!
I'm a Mackie fan and use my iMac 20" and my Mac Pro with the U.420 Firewire interface tied into Logic / Mainstage and Guitar Rig 3. What do you use? Join today and let's talk s'Mac!

Hi Gang,
If you've ever wanted to check out Guitar Rig, but demos annoy and you wanted to beat on it more than 30 days, this is your lucky month!
Run, don't walk, to your local bookseller (Borders or B & N) and look for the August 09 (issue CM141) of Computer Music. It'll run you $15 or so, but it includes the full version of Guitar Rig LE for PC and Mac.
You'll get hooked!

Posted on the Forum board, but I'll announce here as well for those who don't frequent the forum discussions. One of the members, Miguel from Brazil, will be in the US during July. On his return to Florida before leaving for Brazil we're hosting a get-together/jam at Casa G8r in his honor.
OFC get-togethers are famous for the food, fun, camaraderie and music, not to mention…
