A Group dedicated to all the SMART ASSES on the OFC site. You know who you are. Come on in.....the water is acidic!

This will be a centralized group for anyone wishing to learn more about home recording. What's the difference between DAW based and self contained units, types of microphones, plug-ins, effects, etc .

Applause is also made by Kaman music co. like Ovations; I own one because they are a bit cheaper in price-don't no anyone else who has one, so just putting it out there! The pic is my Applause with "wing & dove" appliques- might paint on.
000-size body, Flamed Myrtle back and sides, Engelmann spruce top
Scalloped braces, ivoroid binding with abalone trim around top
Mahogany low profile neck, ebony belly bridge with 6-point snowflakes inlaid
Bound ebony fretboard (25.4" scale, 1 3/4"…
Thanks, it's a twelve string now and resides in Mike Woodfords stable. I kick myself twice a week. I traded it for a nice Viper for my son and an acoustic "O" for my daughter. Eventually I'll stop living in the past and post pictures of a guitar that still exists...I miss that Deacon!!!
Hello! Glad you like my 97C. It's the narrow neck version (I'm a wimp!). I bought it from Dweezil; he bought it and had it sent directly to the Mothership, then found a wideneck. Kim replaced the top (and bowl), so it's a practically brand new guitar. I had them add a battery compartment and do the top in a satin finish. I'm liking it!
Stephen, I love your pictures. Funny thing, I know most of those folks. Hopefully we'll get the opportunity to jam and trade songs in person. Until then this sharing of music on our pages works fine. Great stuff.
Hello,
I am new to all of this so please bear with me. I presently own an Ovation Celebrity elec/accoustic 12-string. It is my 3rd ovation. I have been playing ovations for about 20 years. I love them because of the quality and because of the small neck they have. I can finally do some bar chords. Right now I am looking for another 12-string Ovation.
You all seem from your pics to be having a great time.
I live south (27miles) of Seattle, Wa. Do you know any people who live in this neck of the woods? If you do tell them to give me a holler.
Thanks for the welcome.
