You know, all this talk about the video from Amelia Island from THIS year is driving me nuts. I'm still waiting for the video from LAST year's gathering and workshop......

Thanks for writing, Paul, and for helping me to connect to Chris. I don't think I ever properly thanked you for that role. The GC Artist was always my dream instrument, and it's so great to finally have it. Good lookin' Adamas in your hands in that ID photo, too! That's a "wow" guitar!
Nice Legend, Paul. I have a couple of guitars that do the same positive/negative thing with the top ... and mine are stellar. I'll bet the same thing is happening with yours. :-)
I alos really like that MOP rosette a lot better than the abalone one;. Good call on that one.
Thanks Moody! The Adamas is definitely richer in the bass register and mellower (beautifully so) in the mids and highs. One thing that is subtle but important is that there seems to be a sort of "ceiling" or limit to the Adamas response whereas the Legend will kick back as much as you put in (here I am talking more about high notes). I am not crazy about the electronics in the 1581.. may have to change that up....

Thanks for the heads up,

In the recording "guitar2" the backing track is understated. Should have recorded it louder.... Can't appreciate the bass very well...
