Taken on our FARP (Forward Arming & Refueling Point) in Mosul, Iraq. Those "horns" on my helmet are .50 caliber machine gun rounds. Yes, people thin I am nuts.

My DB is from 1967. serial 345 with no letter. Red label. Wonderful guitar. I rescued it in 2007 and just got it back from the factory in New Hartfor CT after 5 months. They did a nice jod on it. Where is your DB ? Any chance to upload some pics here ?

I made the same vow you did 44 years ago. And to this day, I still cherish and will continue to uphold that solemn promise.

I just read where the Marine Corps has decided to nix social networking sites for fear of classified info getting out there. I hope that doesn't happen to you. We'd hate to lose you from this site.
