Hey Cosmo! Just dropping by to see how you're making out with the new place. Hope you are well and having a good time. Behave yourself, and once you are settled, make sure you send me some more photos.
Cosmo, I was so sorry to read about the passing of your wife. It's obvious from the photos that you were close. I can imagine your grief to some extent. I am divorced and it was the most painful experience I hope I ever have. The difference between you and me is that the person I once (and for a long time) grieved for is still alive, in the arms of someone else!! She was beautiful. God bless her, and you. Keep playing music. It washes away the dust from every day life ...
I absolutely LOVE the photo of you behind the drums! Oh, I remember that decade, haha! The old black & whites are classic, also. (P.S. ~ I had to remove the video of the woman playing the guitar ... EVERYONE thought it was me; I am so embarrassed. That was never my intention). Anyway, I enjoyed your slide show. ;)
Great to hear your story. There are some milder climates in NC like western NC in the mountains. You may want to give that area a try if you ever want to come back. That is great playing at the retirement homes! I wish I was good enough to play like that. It is a part time hobby and do it in my spare time for sure. Wished I had started playing early on in life.
If you mean Raeford in Hoke County in the eastern part of the state then yes..............way too darn hot down that part of the state in the summer for sure. I live in western NC in the mountains outside Asheville, NC. Very mild weather and much lower humidity for the most part. Good to hear from someone that once was in NC.
