Applause owners!

Applause is also made by Kaman music co. like Ovations; I own one because they are a bit cheaper in price-don't no anyone else who has one, so just putting it out there! The pic is my Applause with "wing & dove" appliques- might paint on.

My US-made AA-31 was the second of three guitars that I've ever bought, (was my only guitar for 20 years!) and it's pictured here with it's older cousin (which is the 3rd)

I bought the not-very-used AA in 1988 (rpbably made early-mid 80's and still love it. It seems to have the foam neck but with a dark hardwood fretboard, rather than the all-in-one aluminium. The action is a bit high though I've filed the nut down a bit and filed the saddle down as far as I dare.
It got me interested on Ovation guitars, the OFC, and now this site. I bet there's loads of closet Applause owners on the OFC...

- Mike C.- what year is your AA-14? Never seen this style of headstock before, course I don't get around much either. BTW, nice fish-wall!
